POEM "riot town"
"riot town" by topper and kevin mcentire
its a riot town
out here in the country
protest sigs go up
police barricades come down
a frightening situation in some country nowhere town
no money, only dreamin, I shouldnt a come down
had to sleep in the car
hot jam, it was really bad
town square riot started up
guys throwin rocks really mad
turn the radio up to drown out the noise
turn the radio up surrounded by bad boys
turn the radio up and call the police
turn the radio up to get some peace
now we are surrounded
the next car is getin smashed up
other groups join in
park benches gettin tossed up
hooligans climbin street lamps and stop signs
people running by
bouncin on the bumpers and tappin on windows
man i wish i cood fly
its a riot town
out here in the country
protest sigs go up
police barricades come down
